Alphabet SAL

This weekend Karen and I started our Carriage House Samplings alphabet SAL. We've been planning this for a few months but other stitching and waiting for threads and fabric meant it's been a while getting to this point!

I absolutely love the start I made (even if I say so myself!) I'm stitching over one on Merino lugana from Countrystitch and this is so tiny and cute. She isn't quite finished - I thought I'd got all the threads for the first few charts at least but I missed the colour for her face off the list - so that's on order now. I didn't backstitch her wings either - I thought it might overpower her as she's so small.

Edited to add: Each block's going to be 4.5 x 3.1 cm (1.75 x 1.25 in) - that's the same height as my size 28 needle!

  3. My goodness, Nicki! So cute, soooo little. I think stitching it over one makes it even more adorable, if that's even possible, lol!!
