Which one next?

I'm waiting for some work to turn up, so I spent the morning playing in my stash. Which one should I start next? Two are completely kitted up and two just need one thread each.

Evergreen by Blackbird Designs (I'm using a greener green and a browner brown than the recommended threads here):

Diminutive Dutch Sampler by Carriage House Samplings (or Barrick Samplers as they used to be):

Scarlet Berries by Carriage House Samplings:

Blessings and Kind Wishes by Blackbird Designs:

There's a bit of a theme - it's been a long time since I stitched a Blackbird Designs chart and I have a craving. And I'm really enjoying my CHS stitching. I'm ordering a few threads today too, so there will be more choice soon!

  1. All of your projects are so pretty it would be very hard to choose which is next! Looking forward to seeing which one you pick.

  3. My vote would be for Evergreen Nicki, as those colours are just gorgeous.

  4. Why not start them all?! I know, don't throw things at me. Just a thought. ;) I love each of your projects. I'm feeling the same... I haven't been stitching a BBD in earnest in awhile, except for my niece's birth sampler, so I'm antsy to get stuck back into them. They are such happy samplers. And, I've never met a CHS design that I didn't like.

Love the blog header, btw!! ;)

  5. Oh my, they are all so lovely! If you need a quick fix, I would go for the Evergreen as that should stitch up quickly! Sometimes too many choices can be disabling! ;-) Have fun!

I agree with Siobhan, start them all! Alternatively, start Evergreen (it's a quick stitch!)

  7. I agree with Siobhan and Karen V... start them all. One of them will call to you the loudest and you can make that one your focus piece. You have wonderful picks.

  8. Oh my! They are all nice. I have doen the Diminutive Dutch and that is quite a quick one to do and very enjoyable. I do like your BBD ones though esp the blessings one.

  10. All lovely choices! I would go for Evergreen! I just started Where My Heart Blooms and it's reminded me how much I've missed stitching on a BBD!

  11. I would have to vote for Scarlett Berries, but I agree with Nancy- they are all so pretty! Maybe you do want to start them all. Sorry not much help!

  14. My vote for the Diminutive Dutch sampler! They're all so beautiful but this one jumps out at me!

  15. My vote is for either of the first two. Evergreen is lovely and I am really curious to see how Diminutive Dutch stitches up...I've been on the fence of purchasing that one. Either would be a fairly quick stitch!

  16. Scarlet Berries looks like it would go nicely with your Strawberry Garden (by BD)?? I bought SG after I saw your finished piece.

  17. I like all of them but Scarlett Berries is my pick

What a 'terrible' choice you need to make, specially since you have all the threads and linen sitting ready to go....

Hmmm, my vote is for the Dutch sampler :)

  23. Oooh, look at all those ideas for a new start. All of them are great. If it was me I would have to do Scarlet Berries. I love that chart.... why don't I own it? hmmmm

  25. Evergreen! :D

And not Dutch Sampler. I love those rich delft blues, but they are kinda gloomy just now with all this long-winter snowy-ness we are all having. :)

Whatever you choose, I know it will be awesome! ;) Looking forward to seeing your "more choices" as your fibers arrive.
