I'm glad to get to meet you before you go :) It's hard to be separated - even though Mum (and Dad, but mainly Mum) is only in NZ, I still miss them like heck. I haven't seen my Dad in 2 years now, but luckily Mum comes to visit me for a rest haha - the rest of my family are in Yorkshire (Mum's side), but because I've grown up away from them, it's not as hard living apart - it would be much much harder growing up with them all as an adult and then moving on as you have - I wholeheartedly understand why you need to make the move. And it's hard to 'fit in' ... it's taken me just under 3 years here before I'm finally getting to know people outside work and feel more settled. Sorry for waffling ... ;PAnne Shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10690824664591296103noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9731316.post-1147736145791521152006-05-16T11:35:00.000+12:002006-05-16T11:35:00.000+12:00I'm glad you guys know "where your home is". I hop...I'm glad you guys know "where your home is".
I hope the preparation for the move goes well and is as painless as possible.
It must be hard to be seperated from your family - I know I don't like it that most of mine is in the UK. The important ones (Dad and Lucy) are here in Aussie though, so that's where I am.cathymkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00375882168334521467noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9731316.post-1147687103622361082006-05-15T21:58:00.000+12:002006-05-15T21:58:00.000+12:00That's great news Nicki! I'm sure you'll enjoy this last year much, much better now, knowing you'll be heading home eventually...

Oh! And when you're back, we should really do a get-together with all the friends from the UK and the Netherlands and France some day! :)Kitty Couturehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18366261017869630923noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9731316.post-1147656447268993312006-05-15T13:27:00.000+12:002006-05-15T13:27:00.000+12:00Hugs. It must be hard in a foreign place working at home too, as you don't have so many opportunities to fit into the new place.

I know we don't see each other all that often, but I'll miss you. I'm glad you're not going straight away.Kerryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01829070558793881064noreply@blogger.com
