Motivation
Here's this week's
I'm pretty tired, so the brain isn't functioning very well and this might be short!
1. What is your favorite kind of reading? Novels? Biographies? Mathematical textbooks?
Fiction of varying descriptions. I mainly read fantasy/sci-fi, mysteries, or romances, but I will read just about anything.
2. What do you like best about your favorite kind of reading? What keeps you coming back to that kind of book? Following a gripping story? Watching characters develop? Being educated about things and places you didn't know about? Letting your mind relax into someplace completely different?
Different things for different genres I suppose. Fantasy/sci-fi is obvious - it's an escape into a different world of magic and wonder. Mysteries are either the cosy amateur detective sort - comfort reading - or a puzzle - trying to work out whodunnit. Some books are educational - set in different times or places - some (like romances) are pure enjoyment, just like chocolate!
It's officially spring here (hurray!!). Our one solitary daffodil flower has bloomed and died already (we really don't have any flowers - I miss them!) but I'm celebrating the new season with a new header. Hope you like it!

I hope Polo's doing well.
Hi Nicki, thats a perfect header for spring! I hope your weather has been as glorious as its been down here in the Bay the past few days - even did some gardening today for the first time in several months.
