Toccata II and Harry Potter
Here it is - my finished Toccata II. The pictures aren't great due to the rain and thunder and generally terrible weather!
Many thanks to Tash for stitching along with me. I've enjoyed doing the two motifs a week so much I might do the same for another chart soon.
No stitching today though - I've been reading my new Harry Potter book. I just finished it (10 hours solid reading) and I have to say it was brilliant. I think almost everything I could think of was wrapped up. No spoilers here though - that's all I'm saying!

It looks great. I agree with you about Harry Potter - I've just finished reading it and it was great.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful finish!
ReplyDeleteI still haven't gone out and bought the book. And, I still have the 6th book unread here in my bookshelf. I am going to read it soon though. I do love HP, but I didn't fall into the madness of it all when the books first came out. And somehow I managed to avoid spoilers all this time!
Nicki, it's just gorgeous!! WOW! Congratulations :)
ReplyDeleteJust stunning!!! Congratulations Nicki!
ReplyDeleteThank you for not spoiling! I read your post title and almost didn't open the post to read, for fear of learning too much about HP. I'm trying to go slowly, to make it last. ;)
ReplyDeleteYour DT looks so wonderful - I just love it!

Looks fantastic Nicki! I finished mine on Friday, but I've been avoiding the net until I finished HPDH. Thanks for SAL'ing with me :)

ReplyDeleteCongrats, Nicki! You worked really hard on this one and it shows. It's just lovely! I'm going to miss your Toccata II-sday posts, though. Perhaps someday you'll do Toccata III-sday on Thursdays? ;)
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful piece, Nicki. Exactly what stitching is all about! You did such lovely handwork...it shows. I, too, am savouring every chapter of "Harry.." as Barbara is. I just want to take my time and not to let the little troupe go very quickly. You are good to keep the secret for us.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Deb
