Book review - Highland Laddie Gone by Sharyn McCrumb

Genre, Published:
Crime, 1986
Synopsis:
Elizabeth MacPherson is attending the annual Glencoe Mountain Games when one of the least-liked attendees is murdered. A second murder follows shortly and Elizabeth is called upon to unravel the chaos of a Scottish-American clan gathering.
What did I think?
Amusing and light, this was an easy read with a not-too-hard-to-spot murderer. It did make me giggle a few times but on the whole it wasn't anything spectacular. Good for a rainy day.
Would I recommend?
Possibly. For light amusement.
Would I read again?
Again, possibly.
Score?
3 out of 5.
