One of those weeks...

In case you're wondering why I haven't said much about my stitching over the last week, it's been a frustrating time.

I spent the first Saturday of the month stitching on Midi Mystery - only to spend most of Sunday unpicking it. The variegated threads just weren't working properly and to my mind it looked yucky. I'm halfway through re-stitching with lots of cutting and choosing of which bits of thread to use.

Then I started my RR - only to unpick the second arch when I realised how little fabric I was going to have left at the edges if I did the arches 6 stitches apart as on the chart...

I also had a good look at my WIPs, and I'm not sure about my stitching on Heart of the World. It's 2 over 1 on 25 ct and very tight. So that's being retired for a bit until I decide whether to carry on or restart on 28ct.

But the good news is that I have two new charts! Fantastical Cats (which I'm getting in return for some model stitching - thanks Kerry!), and Hope (which the HAED Fairy gave me as a gift - WOW!). So I have something nice to look forward to starting and hopefully the frogs have done enough visiting for a while!

And on a brighter note - I got this photo today. I finished Middy a year or so ago and gave her to my mum and dad in the UK. They got her framed and here she is on their wall - attracting lots of comments from their friends apparently!
