Garden exchange received!
I know Renée has received the garden exchange I made her, so I'm going to post a piccie :) She's in the US visiting her family at the moment (have a fantastic time Renée!) and will post a pic herself when she can.
This is a combination of two charts - watering can and sunflower & pansies - both by Ursula Michaels. I knew Renée liked watering cans but I really wanted pansies for her too, so I took them from the second chart and stitched them instead of the bottom corner of the watering can. I'm glad it worked!

It's stitched on 32ct Belfast 'Lagoon' from Countrystitch and made into a bag (the material is offcuts from our kitchen curtains in the UK - I never throw fabric away!) I thought a bag would be easy for Renée to pack in her suitcase when she returns to Germany :)

Oh, it's so lovely! Well done! I'm sure Renée loves it :)
ReplyDeleteNicki, you did a great job on that exchange - what a brilliant idea to turn it into a bag ... just love it! :))
