Crisis averted!

Well, not a real crisis thank goodness. I should be stitching on Alpine Seasons but I was having a 'I need a new chart' crisis yesterday, so I got out my stash for a browse instead (it works to a certain extent but I still have a bad case of clicky finger and I'm keeping away from the HAED site!).

Anyway, my eye fell on this Four Little Hearts freebie. I'm really wanting to build a little collection of redwork (I've been admiring other people's collections for ages), so one thing led to another and an evening later I have this. Even Martin said 'that's nice'!

It's stitched on 32ct natural Belfast using Gloriana Cranberry (yummy). I think I'm going to try to turn it into a pinkeep. I've not made a pinkeep before and this seems a good size to try with!

By the way, thank you for your good wishes for Lulu. She came in a short while ago from her night on the tiles and she's swishing her tail, so we think she must be OK. We'll still keep an eye on her for a bit though.

  2. That's lovely, Nicki and what a great idea to finish it as a pinkeep.

    Any news about your parcel?
