Another birthday parcel!

Merci merci beaucoup Sylvie! My birthday exchange from Sylvie took 7 weeks to reach me (obviously sailing the world in spite of being marked priority mail!) but it's here safely and I love it!

Sylvie made me a bourse! I've been wanting a bourse for ages and this is perfect.

The inside is beautifully stitched with LHN's Kitty Cottage sampler - one of my favourite kitty charts - and the outside fabric has cats on it too!

And Sylvie sent me lovely goodies as well - a pretty French sampler chart (I have some light pink 40ct fabric I think this would look really sweet on), yummy Vicki Clayton silks, fantastic buttons, a cute kitty keyring (can you tell there's a bit of a cat theme here!), and a lovely bit of Alsace in the form of a Springerlé mould (for a type of Christmas cake - I love getting things like this that are specific to another country or region).

Thank you SO much Sylvie! The bourse would have been more than enough - I really do love it. You're a sweetheart to be so generous!
