Spring exchange part 2
Leslie has got the spring heart I stitched for her for the Spring exchange, so I can show you!It's the Coeur Printemps freebie by Anne les petites croix stitched on 32ct Rose Petals from Countrystitch (such a beautiful fabric - you can't see the purple and blue blends in the photo).
I finished it with ribbon trim using instructions that Su posted on her blog a while ago. (Thank you Su!) I wanted green, purple, or pink ribbon, but all I could get was purple and yellow. The yellow doesn't go as well as I'd like, but I do like the way the ribbon works and I'll definitely use this finishing method again!
