Sampler lady exchange part 2
My Sampler Lady exchange arrived safe and sound in Texas, so I can show you what I stitched. This is House on the Hill - one of the blocks from A Most Noble Pursuit. It's Ellen Chester's design (With My Needle) and was great fun to do. It's stitched on 36ct linen with the DMC conversion.
I did find a couple of mistakes in the chart. The two darker browns both used the same symbol, so I had to guess which was used where. If I stitched it again I think I'd swap the colours of the dog and deer around. The symbol for the orangey-red colour was wrong too - but that one was easy to work out!
I really want to do a few more of the blocks now! I think a couple framed as a pair would look great together.
