And doing some spoiling....

On the same day that I got gifts, Sylvie got her latest 'Adopt-a-Stitcher' parcel from me! I didn't take a picture of the gifts I popped in it, but here's the needleroll I stitched for her. It's Sweetheart Tree's Victorian Floral needleroll but done in blues because I know that's Sylvie's favourite colour.

The fabric is Sugar Maple Fabric's Blueberry Cheesecake (such a beautiful colour) and I used three Gloriana silks (Blueberry, Hydrangea and Midnight I think) and Crescent Colors Bamboo. The beads and treasure are Mill Hill but I can't remember what numbers. It's a little washed out in the photo - the fabric and threads were so pretty!

  10. Just realised I hadn't commented about your needleroll for Sylvie ... have to say, I think it's DIVINE!! Of course, I'm slightly biased, 'cos it's all in scrummy blues! I might have to steal your idea, as I never thought about changing the threads of the ST designs - they're absolutely gorgeous in your choice of threads ... my mind is ticking over with the possibilities now LOL. Also, your summer flatfold for Sue is lovely - those birds are a really cute series! :D
