Quaker Garden Day 2
Maybe I should have said I have the will power of an amoeba - fleas can be stubborn can't they, but I don't think an amoeba has much will power at all! LOL!
I played with this photo in photoshop to get a better colour of the fabric for you. Thanks for the comments on the fabric smell - good to know it's not just mine!
I just commented on Karen's one ... and will say the same for yours - LOVELY!
ReplyDeleteBTW - thanks for the link to the photos - I played around yesterday, completely copying your idea of changing the top picture - and it worked! so thank you :)
Looks super, Nicki! The colors are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteWow, you're really moving along there! You go girl!!! :o)
ReplyDeleteOh, your Quaker garden is stunning! I am green with envy as I passed up this pattern and now I can not find it ANYWHERE!!!
ReplyDeleteLiving vicariously through your lovely work!
looking great...
ReplyDeletethe colours are glorious as is the stitching...
maybe you have the will power of a fudgey in a chocolate shop...
that would work
You're making great progress on QG - I better get moving!
ReplyDeleteIts looking fabulous Nicki!!! :o)
ReplyDeletePhewy to willpower! Your piece is lovely. I personally love the smell of R&R fabrics - part of the appeal for me but maybe I'm wierd. I don't know if airing it outside would make a difference - in the shade of course as they're not colorfast.
ReplyDeleteGreat progress! I had a hard time photographing the fabric of QG too - so pretty in person, but almost impossible to capture in a photo :-)
ReplyDeleteWell, amoebas are one of the oldest life forms ... ;> (I can't help it - I never get the chance to tease!)
ReplyDeleteLovely start
