Quaker Garden Day 4
Here's Quaker Garden post weekend. I just can't get the colour of the fabric to show up in a photo (and the scanner is buried under a heap of paper), so you'll have to imagine the fabric colour! It's being put away until next weekend now so I can work on exchanges.
Thanks for the comments on the quilt start. It was very easy as all the pieces were precut, so I just had to figure out how to do applique! I'm going to try to get a mini block done per couple of weeks, or thereabouts.
Just love your sampler pices Nicki, think I will be ordering this piece quicker than quick!
ReplyDeleteLove your little piece of patch work too, looks gorgeous. Are you doing a whole quilt?

ReplyDeleteEvery time I see Quaker Garden I love it more and more. I have it and the fabric to go with it but I haven't started it yet. I will have to start it soon. Yours looks wonderful.
ReplyDeleteYour Quaker Garden looks great. So many people are stitching this one, I just love seeing them all. Hope the head is better.

ReplyDeleteHi Nicki! I am working on the same sampler and loving it! I am using Gloriana Silks in Spanish Moss, Red Pear, Forest, Arctic Ice and Rose Bud on 28ct Hand Dyed Joeblan "Sand Castle". You are doing a great job! I had to frog mine, shouldn't watch serious television programs whiles stitching! I hope to keep track of your stitching.
