Meow to Michelle!
A big meow from Polo and Lulu to Michelle (and Hamlet, Othello and Romeo!), and a big thank you and hugs from me!
Why? Because I got the loveliest needlebook from Michelle today for the Crazy Cat Lady exchange. Isn't it great?
It's parts of Chatelaine's Egyptian Garden, which I love and is sitting in my stash but I haven't got round to stitching yet. And it's a reference to Ancient Egypt as Michelle and I are fans of the Amelia Peabody books (and of Ancient Egypt!) Perfect! Look at the colour of the lining too - a real Egyptian blue.
And fabulous gifts - for me and the kitties. A Bleu de Chine chart I actually nearly bought a couple of weeks ago (good thing I didn't!), and lovely Piecemaker needles (that are going in the needlebook so I stop getting them mixed up with my other ones!) and kitty charms and kitty toys, and a postcard for my collection and an Egyptian card to carry on the theme!
Thank you SO much Michelle! Lulu and Polo say meow and thank you too! (They haven't played with the toys yet - it's pouring wth rain and thundering and really dark here so they're both sound asleep.)
Actually Polo is saying 'Can I get out of this room yet?' And the answer is 'Yes!' She's barely limping and we had our vet check this morning and the vet said she can leave the room (but not go outside yet). The funny thing is, she's now asleep back in the spare room even though the door's open. After 5 weeks she thinks of it as home!
