More rotation thoughts....

OK, I've rethought this, as I couldn't bear not to stitch on some things for months on end. So, here goes on the new, new rotation...

I now have six categories in the rotation and spend a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 10 days on each. I'll move in new starts and other WIPs as I finish something. I can swap stuff in and out too - so I'll probably work on one big HAED for a couple of rounds then swap it for another.

Wednesdays are for gifts, first weekends of the month are for my Carriage House Samplings SAL.

Exchanges, RRs, and other SALs slot in as necessary, then I pick up my rotation where I left off.

Projects currently in the rotation are:

Cute and/or Quick
Something new to be decided as I've finished The Counting House!

HAED
Shakaasha or Tomboy (I love both of them so I'll probably swap them around)

Chatelaine
Pompeii Garden

BAP for Martin
Napoleon Crossing the Saint-Bernard (Golden Kite)

Miscellaneous over two project
Quaker a 6 Mains

Miscellaneous over one project
Fantastical Cats (Character Creations)
The Token (Long Dog Samplers)
(I'll probably swap these around too to try to get The Token finished)

Let's see how this goes!

  3. Good luck with the new rotation - I think the hardest part of rotations is finally finding the mix that works ... I'm still looking for it ;)

  4. Well good luck...I'm think I'm going to try to do a rotation someday, as I really have LOTS of projects I'd LIKE to start and LOTS of projects I need to FINISH!!

  5. Good luck with your rotation. I've done rotations before, but gave up. Now I just do 1 project at a time and mix it in with some smalls when the "big" project becomes overwhelming.

  6. Good luck with your interview. Home of the Needleworker is looking great!

  7. I feel the same way about my stitching. That's why I have such a vague rotation.

I like the sound of your rotation. Good luck with it!
