Pompeii part 1

Here's part 1 so far!

(Stitched on 32ct Pipi Belfast from Countrystitch)
I've put it away now because I'm missing about four colours to fill in those gaps. I took the plunge and ordered all the missing threads though, so next time round I should be able to fill in the holes in part 1 and carry on with part 2. I'm lucky I had a lot of the colours already so it wasn't as expensive as it could have been!

I did start Martin's Napoleon piece yesterday but discovered almost all page 1 is 3052 or blends of it and I'm completely out! So not much to show. I'll have to stitch something else until I go shopping. Plenty to choose from....!

  1. It's looking so pretty. I can't wait to see it in person. You can't see about the beads unless you look for it. (Which I sympathise with by the way as I've had it happen to me.)

  2. Love what you've got done so far. I love the designs, but not brave enough to commit to anything that large just yet. So I'll just have to keep watching and drool!

  3. That's absolutely beautiful...I sat staring at it and drooling for a few minutes. I'd love to start a chateleine, but I've got a few projects already and i can't really afford another one...

While I'm here, is there any chance you could tell me how you got the progress bars for your projects? They look awesome and I've seen them on a few blogs, but can't figure out how to do them.

  4. Still drooling here ;P LOL. I'm sooooo loving watching the progress on this one :D What a shame you're having to hunt for a new project while you're waiting for threads to arrive ... sounds like great torture to me! :D
