A beautiful evening

I took this on Thursday evening. It was a gorgeous early summer day - warm but not hot, no humidity, just perfect. I was sitting there stitching and feeling very content after a busy few days of work when I realised my wine matched my thread! So out came the camera, and of course Polo had to get in on the act!

Polo has been given the all clear from the vet! Hooray! She doesn't limp any longer and doesn't need to go back again. It took nine weeks of loving care but she's well! We're still being careful though. The curious arrangement of table, chairs, and a plank of wood in the photo is to stop the minx from leaping up to the top of that railing in one go. This way she can get up and down in steps without risking injuring her knee. And there's less chance of her going headlong over the edge too!
