Windy days and stitches
Did I say something about early summer? I take it back! In spite of the fact that I saw a Pohutukawa flowering yesterday (about 6 weeks too early), it's cold and wet and we've had the windiest winds (shades of AA Milne there) I can ever remember having! The Sky Tower had to be closed it was so windy!
I promised stitching pics, so here's the next thing on the rotation - Quaker a 6 Mains. I don't have an awful lot left to do so I'm hoping to get this finished soon - I have to do it this year, it has 2006 on it!
I worked on the quaker for three days and then the missing threads I needed for part 1 of Pompeii Garden arrived. I held out for a day but I couldn't resist and I'm back on that for a while. I've made it a focus piece - I can see I won't be able to put it away for very long! Pics of that to come soon.

ReplyDeleteHmm, it doesn't sound like anyone is enjoying nice weather anywhere these days. Your Quaker piece looks so pretty - I love the blue fibre you are using.
