Chocolate squares and stitching
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! We got invited round to some of the family for a Christmas brunch and then spent the rest of the day with our usual hobbies - stitching for me and model painting for Martin! We still have to go shopping for my Christmas present (!) but Martin got a model he wanted. And my mum and dad sent some money so we can have a long weekend in Melbourne next year (hooray!).
We weren't sure what 'brunch' would mean (it turned out to be salmon salad and ham and sweet things and bubbly) so we've saved our Christmas dinner for today. Spreading out the Christmas cheer!
I took along some chocolate and date squares as a thank you....
I've also finished the next round of the Heaven and Earth Designs round robin. This is Terri's RR - the theme is 'Dragons' - with a piece from Ian Daniels' Love and Magic.

Those chocolate and date squares look scrummy! (of course I am stuffed full of turkey right now but I can still look lustfully at sweets)
ReplyDeleteLove and magic looks fantastic too!
You dragon turned out great! I like the way Terri set her piece up.
ReplyDeleteYour dragon I mean :)
ReplyDeleteWow, a HAED RR - that's a labor of love!
ReplyDeleteYour holidays sound fun to me. Especially that stitching part. ;>
Beautiful dragon! And the goodies look yummy!
