Stitch-a-longs..

A belated pic from last weekend's SAL with Karen on the Carriage House Samplings alphabet. This month it was H for Horse! It seems like only a little while ago we started - it's hard to believe we've been doing this for 8 months now.

(One over one on 28ct Merino lugana from Countrystitch using recommended GAST threads.)

And here's last night's SAL on Strawberry Garden with Lina! I didn't get so much done as last week. I was feeling very tired yesterday. It's coming along though and such fun to do!

(Stitched on 32ct Toitoi linen from Countrystitch using recommended threads.)

It's December, so I've decorated my blog with a pic of a nearby Pohutukawa (the New Zealand Christmas Tree!) There are trees flowering everywhere now and they look fantastic. There seems to be so much more blossom this year than last and everywhere you go there are bright red trees coming out. Another week and they'll be absolutely stunning.

  3. I miss seeing the Pohutukawa trees! :( That photo is a great one, and really does the colour justice :D Your WIPs are great too ... and I'm just loving watching your progress on Strawberry Garden. Funnily enough, a couple of threads from my Mystery Bits I picked up yesterday were for this one - I wonder if that's a hint I should be joining in hahaha ... like I need another project to start! ;)

You've made great progress on both. I was feeling tired too on Monday and had less time to stitch as well. But this is so much fun to stitch, it's such a great design and I'm so glad we started this SAL :)
