Too hot.......

It's way too hot for stitching.... I'm boiled. All my work has turned up at once and I've spent the week slogging away in the office, which happens to be one of the hottest rooms in the house! I am really not a summer person. It's my least favourite season. I'd far rather be knee deep in snow than hot and sweaty!

No stitching to share but I did spot this titbit this evening as I caught up with my groups and blogs. This is from Diane of Little House Needleworks:

"In just a short time Sharon [of Crescent Colors] will be releasing her new silk threads at Nashville market. Along with that release will be the first of four LHN designs that will be packaged to include the silks. The first one begins with "Spring Sampler" followed every three months by another season. Shops attending market can see the first two in Sharon's room and place orders there. I will have a photo on my web site the Friday before market begins for shops not attending the show."

Oooh, Crescent Colors silks and a new series of seasons from LHN! That's something to look forward to!

  1. Yay! I'd heard about the silks and was hoping they'd be released at Nashville. I love their cottons so I'm looking forward to trying the silks at some point.

Sorry you're so hot over there - it's still a little snowy here. I'm like you, I'd prefer to be cold than hot. Hope it cools down a little soon!

  3. We're just in a deep freeze here - the wind chill has put the temperature down to -24 C. Wanna share a little heat with me and I'll send some icy air to you?

Those LHN designs are so tempting and now with silks added? I think I'll have to indulge myself!

  6. Oooh, what a tip! I'll have to make sure I hook up with Sharon to get some silks after she gets back from Nashville. :)
