Toccata II-sday 8 and Winter's Eve

Weekly SAL updates... Here's Toccata II, my SAL with Tash. Two more simple motifs this week and a close up photo so you can see the stitching a bit better.

And yesterday's SAL with Lina on Winter's Eve. More algerian eyelets this week, plus rice stitches and more beading. Just the rest of the beading to do on this part and part 4 will be done! Here's a photo of the whole thing so far. It's worked on the linen banding that came with the kit. Not my favourite fabric but once it's finished as a hanging I'm sure it'll be lovely.

I've been gift and obligation stitching and working on stitch-a-longs all month so far! One more bit of obligation stitching to do this week (Michelle's HAED RR, which is half finished), and then I can finally pull out The Token (I see it's been winning the vote for my next WIP). I also want to get back to Pompeii Garden, especially if it starts to cool down enough for bigger projects. Next month may also be a bit full of obligation stitching though - I must finish a few things before we move!

  7. Oh, so lovely! You're very dedicated to keep to your once a week stitching rotation. I think I would just want to keep on at something, which I guess is why rotations don't want to work for me.
