People keep asking...

...about the move. So just an announcement to sit up at the top of my blog for a bit.

We leave NZ on April 4th and we arrive back in the UK (Hertfordshire) on April 5th. I'll be out of contact for at least a week.

Yes, I'm excited, and nervous, and anxious, and everything else that goes with packing up a house and cats to move across the world. At least we're going back to our own house and the tenants have moved out. And they didn't trash it, though apparently there are a few things that are broken.

I'll miss NZ, though hopefully not as much as I've missed the UK. I'm looking forward to seeing family and friends again, and having a garden, and nice neighbours, and a town to walk into, and old buildings, and English countryside, and decent broadband, and TV with no adverts, and... and.....

  4. :D So pleased you're going to be coming back to the UK! Whenever I've been out of the country, particularly to Italy, I've always been amazed at how green the landscape is here. I wouldn't swap it for anything {{{hugs}}}
