We're home!

We're tired but we're home safe and sound - us and the kitties. We have internet again too (and wow it's fast compared to NZ), so more updates soon.

The flight was not so great - 4 hours delay meaning a total journey time of about 45 hours. I got sat next to a smelly drunk for 14 hours too - yuk! But we're here and it's so good to be home. We've had flowers from the neighbours, dinner with Martin's mum and dad, and lunch with Martin's brother and family. I can't tell you how happy I am to be home.

The cats are happy to be here too. They know where they are and today we let them into the garden for the first time while I tackled the weeds. Lulu promptly went next door to steal their cat's food. She remembers how things work round here!

Stitching updates to come soon but I haven't done much. I went almost a whole week without time to pick up a needle! I also need to say a big thank you to Isabelle for a wonderful welcome home present (I'll post a picture very soon!), to Karen for sending me one of her charts, and to Anne - without whose help I wouldn't be able to post at all as we wouldn't have been able to air freight our computer!

So glad you made it back OK, even if the journey was a bit horrendous. It's great to see you posting again :)

You're welcome to the chart - hope you enjoy stitching it! Looking forward to seeing L is for Lion; I did start Y but progress has been a bit hit and miss - hopefully it'll be done by *this* weekend! ;)
