I have been stitching...

There's been some secret stitching going on but I do have a couple of things to show you. First up, Sheri's piece for our HAED RR. I did the small block to the left of the face but as it's just a brown blob I thought I'd show you the whole thing so far. It has more detail in real life and looks really good.

And here's this week's two motifs on Toccata II. That's the last of the motifs above the alphabet done and the last of the perle thread thank goodness. I've decided I hate that stuff!

I've been reading for my two read-a-longs as well. I've finished Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and just started Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and I finished my second book for the Summer Mystery Reading Challenge - The Grave Maurice by Martha Grimes. Very well written (especially as it was very authentically English but the author lives in the US) but somehow it didn't grab my attention as much as it could have done.

  4. Oh my goodness! YOu must have been cross-eyed with all that brown. Super job!

I'm (trying) to fit in a re-read of the HP's before the new one. I probably won't manage to fit them in but I'll just have to try and steer clear of spoilers for a while, I expect. lol
