A French Touch
I had a little shopping spree last week and bought a couple of lovely things from French Touch (aka our lovely Isabelle!).
The bag is gorgeous - far prettier than the photos show and beautifully made.
And this little pincushion is perfect. No more dropped needles getting dangerously close to kitty feet!
I really recommend Isabelle's sewing - it's lovely. But she's on holiday now because tomorrow is the big day. I wanted to say Felicitations to Isabelle and Sébastien on their wedding. I hope they have a beautiful day and are very, very happy together!
Thank you all for the comments on the last post. Garnet wasn't a new start - sadly no stitching octopus here! I had a red blob from last year but I hadn't shown it you. Here it was:
And we have thought about a bell for Lulu but decided against it. Not only would she probably wake us up all night ringing as she jumped on and off the bed, but she came home yesterday without her collar anyway. That's the second one she's lost since being back - she's really making up for lost time, she didn't lose one collar or bring us any 'presents' when we were in New Zealand! Oh, and Carol, yes she has gone brown. She goes rusty in the sunshine!

Oh, well, that previously stitched bit makes all a difference! Hehe :) That is still an impressive amount of progress.

ReplyDeleteLovely purchases, Isabelle makes some beautiful things, they've been in my thoughts this w/end too!
ReplyDeleteSympathy with you and your cat problems, thankfully ours aren't hunters but they do regularly wake us up in the middle of the night and unlike children they don't seem to grow out of it!
Lucky you! I SO wanted to buy that bag! My Othello goes brown in the sunshine too. So funny.
ReplyDeleteLooks like some great purchases from Isabelle! I'm sure she adds a lot of special touches to her work.
