Quaker Friendship Sampler
First, a photo of the lovely post I received this morning - my Quaker Friendship Sampler RR home again. It's on 40t Light Examplar using Silk n Colors Cerise Noir, Dinky Dyes Jarrah and Hand Dyed Fibers Chocolate. I haven't even had time to iron it so here it is creased from the envelope.
It's been all round the world and it looks great! A big thank you to Karen for organising it and to Barbara, Karen, Becky, Anne and Katrina for their beautiful stitching.
We've had a lovely Christmas but I must admit that I feel exhausted, so this'll be a short post. We had the in-laws round on Christmas Day and then we went to them for Boxing Day. Two days of over eating but all the food was lovely - even if I say so myself! There was no stitching on Christmas Day itself but I did take my travel piece to the in-laws on Boxing Day and I have done a lot more on Medieval Times. Pics to come when I have more energy!
Hope you all had a great time too!

ReplyDeleteHi Nicki,
ReplyDeleteWhen I first saw your RR I fell in love with the colors and asked if anyone knew what threads were being used. I'm so glad you listed your colors. If I ever stitch this one, I will surely use the same color scheme. It is lovely!
I love the colors you chose for this - I've also really enjoyed watching everyone's project on this RR - what fun!
