Autumn colours?

I keep telling you I've been working on Blackstone, so here's the proof!

It's on 32ct Golden Promise by Silkweaver with a variety of GAST and Crescent Colours. I've frogged and restitched some of those colours to get the right ones and I'm debating whether that darker green works. Not too sure...

It's a glorious day today - fresh and bright and really sunny. It was lovely yesterday too. We had a day off and went to the National Army Museum in London. Very interesting and such fun to go out for the day like that. It's the sort of thing we missed in NZ - we weren't really into the beach culture. Museums, old houses and history are more our thing!

  2. I love it Nicki. The colours are gorgeous.

I hope you don't mind but I have a question for you about the Loose Feathers! Do you buy the chart and get the fabric at the same time? Where is the best place to get them? I've looked at Needlecraft Corner and DSL and DSL appear to be cheaper with their fabric but thought you maybe get larger cuts from Drema. I'm going to cave!

Glorious day here as well. I've been working my butt off since the morning, but I have to take a break and go out before the sun sets! :)

Lovely progress Nicki! Wasn't it a gorgeous weekend? We managed to get out for a walk in the fields and it was very spring-like :)

  11. Wow! That's great work. Of course it makes Blackstone's voice in my head a little louder but it'll keep :)
And I just have to add, NZ has museums, old houses and history too. Just depends what part you are in. And ok, the houses just aren't the same age, but still :) Nah, I understand. I must admit I'm looking forward to life in the UK for many reasons, and history is up there.
