January stitching report

Not a lot of new stitching to show you as I've been working all week and only really stitching on Barbara's winter exchange piece, which is, of course, a surprise!

I do have a tiny update on Winter Wonderland. I might finish this at home and start something else for the train - I'm finding it hard to find the holes on 32ct hand-dyed on a bumpy train journey!

And January's round-up. Not a lot to show for it I feel. Hmmm...

Finished
Pear threadpack
Winter House exchange

Started
Maryse's sampler
Winter Wonderland (LHN)
Winter exchange for Barbara

Made progress on
Napoleon
CHS alphabet
Earth
Beatrix Potter Quaker Sampler
Blackstone Fantasy Garden

Abi asked what threads I was using for Blackstone, so here they are:

Dinky Dyes Desert Sands for the main knotwork
Crescent Colours Colonial Copper to surround

Silk n Colours Frosted Auburn for the second knot
Crescent Colours Manor Red to surround

Blackwork - CC Almost Auburn, CC Joshua Tree, GAST Claret, GAST Gingersnap, CC Clay Pot (and possibly more to be decided). The green is WDW Moss but I've taken that out now and started using WDW Bright Leaf.

All the colours are just threads I had in my stash except the ones for the main knots. The blackwork doesn't use a lot of thread so I'm trying to pick colours where I have bits left over from other projects.
