Finish-it February part 1

I had a little spending spree a while ago, buying some frames. It costs so much to have embroidery framed I thought I'd do it myself. I had a wonderful framer in NZ, but I'm very wary of trying anyone local in the UK after a nasty experience with a local framer many years ago. He used spray mount to stick my embroidery to the board! And yes, I had checked that he did lacing and had specifically asked for it to be laced.

I'm in a finishing mood this weekend so here's the first two done:

Coffee Menu by Little House Needleworks
Stitched on 32ct Countrystitch Oyster with recommended threads

I can't find anyone here who laces. :(

Wow Nicki, those are beautiful! You did a great job :)

I'm going to the framer this week - he doesn't lace, unfortunately but he did assure me that all the materials he uses are acid-free (and he definitely doesn't use spray mount!). I'm happy with the job he does, but then I wouldn't want to do my own, I don't think.

We have snowdrops too - so pretty!
