Red letter day!

It's a red letter day in more than one way today. Not only is it my birthday, but I got LOTS of red goodies in the mail from two lovely friends. No one would think I liked red would they?!

First up, a lovely selection of red threads from Barbara, with a gorgeous thread keeper and cute little heart button. A couple of these thread brands are new to me, so I'm looking forward to trying them out. Thank you so much Barbara - I love them!


And then there was this - a beautiful scissor pocket from Karen. Red of course and lovely it is too. And more red goodies - silk fabric and threads - yummy!


As always, wonderfully finished with a lovely button and the finest silk ribbon on the back. And scissors inside too - now I have a second pair! Thank you too Karen - it really is gorgeous.


It's rather chaotic here as we're having secondary glazing put in, I'm trying to work, and Martin is fixing the hole in the ceiling where he fell through it yesterday! (He's fine - it was just a bit messy.) But I'm still having a lovely day so far. Great presents and the sun is shining. And I've already put a couple of things to use for my latest start - LHN's Cappuccino thread pack, which I started yesterday as an early birthday treat!
