Thank you Becky!

My birthday keeps going. I got a wonderful package from dear Becky today. The highlight is this gorgeous little tin. Redwork of course, with a little lady and a plant and birds on it. I love it! The pincushion with its attached strawberry emery was tucked inside. Isn't it cute?

But that wasn't all. Look at all the lovely things Becky gave me! Notecards and a notebook, a little kit, lots and lots of DMC 115 (yum), chocolate that is vanishing fast (more yum!), and a little heart threadkeeper with holes personally punched by Becky's DH. Aw, thank you!

It's a lovely package and I love it all. Thank you so much Becky. You've had so much to think of, I'm amazed you've had time to do this for me.

I'm off to London for work tomorrow (hope the wind dies down and the trains run!). In fact, I'm working almost full time now, so I'll probably only be blogging at the ends of the weeks. A lot less time for the internet but good news work-wise. Cross your fingers they keep renewing my contract or even offer me a permanent post, which I what I'd like!

  1. Becky is so sweet to have sent you such a great package - lucky you! What a great little tin she stitched and in red, of course! Fingers crossed that the job will work out as you want it to.

  2. Nicki :) I am so happy you like everything :) It is always my pleasure to stitch for you :)
Sending big hugs to you :)

  3. Oh my heavens, Nicki! That's a birthday gift and a half! :D ENJOY!

Beautiful gifts from our dear Becky :)
I feel terrible and such a dork.
Thankfully, you do have wonderful ladies to make up for my appalling forgetfulness.
