Busy busy

It's been a whole week since my last update. Doesn't time fly? I've been busy at work and also in the garden. We've been promised terrible weather but each morning over the last few days has been bright and sunny. Perfect for trying to make a start on knocking the garden into shape. There's not much to see yet but hopefully another week or so and it'll look neat and tidy at least! I'm going to try to grow some tomatoes, herbs and a few veggies, so I've been sowing seed. Crossed fingers something comes up!

I've also been stitching. This weekend I'm working on Earth, and during the week I worked on Blackstone. Here it is...

There a deceptive amount of stitching in this design. I keep thinking I don't have much more to do but I'm only about 70% done!

Good luck with the seed sowing - we really must get on and do ours soon if we want to have veggies this year!

  4. Your Blackstone is really coming along. I just spent the last few minutes looking at the enlarged picture. Your stitching is perfect especially with all that detail.

I'll be sending growing thoughts to your future seedlings :)

  10. Wow! Beautiful work on blackstone.

Good luck on your seeds and the veggie garden. I always like the idea of growing one myself but I forget that things need watering :) Hope you are better at that sort of thing than I am.

  11. Blackstone is just gorgeous - it looks so pretty in the colors you've chosen. Good luck with the seeds. Eric just replanted and weeded his herb garden and is now a happy man with fresh herbs to cook with.
