Spot of Spring

A second finish for the project challenge. I started this a couple of days ago when the weather was very spring-like. I was out in the garden on Friday, weeding in just a shirt and jeans. Not today - it's snowing again! Really, what's up with the weather?

Anyway, here's Spot of Spring by Drawn Thread stitched on 36ct Pipi from Countrystitch.

And here's the whole thing. Just summer to slot in when that season rolls round and then I'll hemstitch it and make a little bellpull.

  7. I really love how you're working all the seasons like that. It looks great! Too bad snow crept in. That doesn't seem fair.

  8. Beautiful stitching Nicki. We really are having odd seasons just now. Last year up here our daffs were all done by March and this year they are only just coming out.

  10. Your bellpull is looking great - I'm hoping summer isn't going to be as yucky as it was last year! Spring is crazy here isn't it - I was weeding in shirtsleeves on Friday as well, and had to turn the heating up on Sunday with all the snow! Love your start on St Reatham - (chuckling at Streatham!)

We have snow flurries now -- it is discouraging as the crocus flowers were beautiful this a.m.
