One stitch here and another there

Lots of stitching photos to share today.

Last weekend I actually took a whole day off and worked on a long-overdue round robin that belongs to Wanda. It got out of sync so I'm finishing off my bit long after the others are done, but I really should have got it done before now. I'm going to do half that big box at the top as her sections are quite a bit bigger than most.

Then there's Secret Garden, which I'm doing here and there in my lunch hour. I got the main motif finished yesterday and just have the strawberry to do now.

And lastly, I've been picking up a needle every spare minute at home - 5 minutes before leaving for work, 10 minutes while waiting for potatoes to cook. It all adds up and here's where I've got to with Random Thoughts. Just the border to go.

I really love this one - especially this bit on the middle with the quote and the yellow flowers.

I can see more Drawn Thread charts in my future - I have three of the gardens to do in my stash!

  1. You know, I could have sworn you'd already stitched Secret Garden - have you stitched it twice?! It looks gorgeous anyway :)

And wow at RT - it looks absolutely wonderful! :) Isn't it amazing how a few stitches here and there can add up so quickly? Great progress!

    Have a great weekend!

  5. Thanks for the update and photo Nicki. I know I'll have lots of stitching to finish off this RR piece but aren't the colors just yummy? Thanks so much for working on her.

I've developed a fondness for samplers over the last year. Funny how your taste change and these Drawn Thread designs are beautiful. Love how they are personalized.
