Leanne's House block 1

Well I had enough of cutting for Clifford so, still on the patchwork theme, I moved on to another pattern that's been tucked away for a while - Leanne's House. I got this as a block of the month when we were in New Zealand, so I've had block 1 on the go since July 2006. Crikey - has it really been that long?

Last night I finally finished mini block 4...

And tonight I finished stitching all the mini blocks together to make block 1...

It doesn't look particularly straight but I measured and measured and stitched on the lines. It's all handsewn and I guess I need a bit more practise!

We had a great day out in Ely today and up early tomorrow to go to Dublin. See you when I get back!

  4. I started Leanne's House, I think after seeing it on your blog LOL, and I only have one block completed. I finally received the last 2 remaining blocks after a horrendous mess-up with the company that used to supply them. I think its time now to carry on with it!
