Earth
I have become a terrible blogger. But I really do think that this time I might start up again and write more regularly!
So what's happened since I last was here? Well, I've been working (too much), stitching (too little), reading (like a mad woman), and neglecting the garden.
Lulu went to the vet for her boosters and we discovered she had an overactive thyroid gland. It partly explains her weight loss and hyperactive behaviour, and could have contributed to her getting lost. She had the gland removed and she's fully recovered now, although all the fur she lost has come back grey. So we have a black cat with a grey belly!
We've had no holiday or time off, but we are earning enough to pay the bills, so I guess that's good!
And I had a finish...
Ladies, may I present my first finished Heaven and Earth Designs - Earth!

ReplyDeleteFirst off, Earth.. Wow! Great work and congrats on the finish.
ReplyDeleteCats.. poor little thing but glad she's all better now.
Blogging... you and me both :) When I'm back from hols I'm going to start up again and try for one a week.
And speaking of hols... I'm off this weekend. So don't forget to drop me an email with things you miss from NZ - like pixie caramels, snifters, perky nanas... hmmm, yummy.
How can you finish a HAED if you've been doing too little stitching? Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteI saw this earlier on FB and was surprised because I have to admit I thought you had already finished it (but then remembered it was my Aussie friend Amanda) Any way, great finish Nicki!! Congratulations - she is marvelous, just gorgeous!

ReplyDeleteAs for blogging Facebook seems to have killed a few of the blogs I used to read a lot... and well I have never managed to be a very regular blogger so I can't really complain :p
Fabulous - what a lot of work! I, too, have been a terrible blogger, but am back in a groove, sort of. Hope you stay on yours, too!
