Frappuccino
The first finish of 2010!
Frappuccino by Little House Needleworks
Stitched on 32ct Oyster from Countrystitch
I've made no goals or plans for stitching this year. I would like to work on all my WIPs at least once, and I would like to reduce them down a little, but I'm not worried if neither happens. I'll definitely have at least one new start this year as I need a little variation, but I only started two things last year (the two LHN coffee charts) and bought not one single bit of cross stitch stash! It just wasn't a good year.
This year will be better though. Right now I've picked up a HAED that hasn't seen the light of day since October 2006 - photos soon...

Lovely first finish for the year, Whatever you stitch on next, hope you enjoy it
ReplyDeleteOoh, you *did* have a bad year if you bought no stash at all!
ReplyDeleteLove your finish and I think that no goals for this year is the way to go :)
Your frappucino finish is perfect! And I have that chart around here somewhere. Have a lot of fun catching up on your stashing.
ReplyDeleteLovely finish Nicki, I do like those tea and coffee designs from LHN. I never set goals as I never keep to them. If I have something that needs to be stitched I do it, but otherwise I just work on whatever takes my fancy.
ReplyDeletewow...looks gorgeous
ReplyDeleteWow, I can't believe that you didn't buy anything last. What a lot of willpower. Your Frappucino finish is really sweet! Can't wait to see what you pick up next.
ReplyDeleteOooh, I love that, well done! It's one I want to stitch too, whenever I'll have time for it.
ReplyDeleteLovely finish. I never make goals either.
ReplyDeleteA nice finish. Looks like you have plenty of WIPs to keep you busy this year!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the finish! I'm also looking forward to seeing which HAED you picked up, and seeing progress on it.
ReplyDeleteI haven't made any goals either, and I'll just be happy if I get more stitching time this year than last. Like you I was good last year and didn't buy any stash. Well, that is until Dec when the HAED sales were on. Then I caved and spoilt myself with 3 charts; sort of a xmas pressie to myself. Now I'm back on the wagon again, but I have plenty of things to work on, especially as I treated myself to a new start at xmas - helped that I already had the fabric and thread I needed in my stash ;) This year I'll be trying to join you in bringing out old WIPs.
I love the Little House coffee ones that you have been doing but I can't find them on the website :-(
ReplyDeleteThat design turned out so well! It's much more colourful than I thought it would be. Congrats!
ReplyDeleteYour Frappuccino finish is gorgeous! As for not buying stash last year, I think that's probably positive :P
ReplyDeleteAll the best to you, hubby and furbabies for 2010 - here's hoping it's better than 2009 and filled with everything your hearts desire :D xx
It's lovely Nicki, congratulations
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your non-goals
Love first 2010 finish Nicki :)
ReplyDeleteFrappucino looks great and makes me think of Starbucks....yummmm. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteLooks great Nicki.
ReplyDeleteVery cute! Congratulations on your first finish for the year.
