And another...

What terrible people you are - trying to get me to start all of my kitted projects at once! LOL. I think Evergreen is my top choice, but then there's this...

The threads I ordered arrived - all but the green one, which is on back order. The first stash I've bought since 2008! So here's another option. And I think this might be the one I do start when Green Tree is finished, which will probably be this evening. I love the colours - so unusual.

I ordered the threads from a craft store in the UK that is up for sale. Sadly we still haven't won the lottery, otherwise I'd be buying it. But if anyone out there is interested, pop over to Thread Bear. They need to sell for personal reasons.

I'll leave you with a 'butter wouldn't melt in his mouth' photo of Trev. You wouldn't guess he's been a real fidget over the last few days - fighting with the sofa cushions, demolishing piles of paper and climbing the chimney!

  1. Oooooooo Nicki, Moon Garden is just gorgeous, with lovely colours.I can see why you want to start that one.

Shame I've not won the lottery either as my dream is to have a needlecraft shop. Mind you Thread Bear is in the wrong part of the country for me, my dream shop would be in the Yorkshire Dales.

  2. Oooh yes that is a lovely one. I'd start that one too! It's a shame about Thread Bear. I hope someone can buy it soon and keep it running. x

  3. Ooh! What linen is MG going on, there? It's gorgeous!

As for Trevor, I lol'ed at that expression--"butter wouldn't melt..." I hadn't heard that one in a while! I adore his green eyes and white toe-tips! I *would* believe he's been getting into it lately based upon that rooftop pic of him in your sidebar. ;)

Looking forward to your new start, whatever it may be!

  5. I just ordered this chart in one of the recent sales! I hope to get it soon. What linen are you using? The recommended one or something else? I might lighten up my linen as I have trouble stitching on darker linens.

    Looking forward to your progress.

Trev is cute but in the photo your expression suits his perfectly! ;-)

  6. That one is pretty too! Too many to decide. Maybe put them in a pile and randomly draw one with your eyes closed?

  7. Umm, I'm still back at the 'first stash since 2008' sentence. REALLY????? Wow. You are my hero!! Slightly crazy, but still my hero. ;) I love your choice--BBDs are such fun stitches. Trev is too cute. I have a paper shredder here, too, but of the canine kind!

  11. Oh Nicki, I think I'd be in the same dilemma if I had to decide which of the five projects to start first. They are all just wonderful and very appealing.

  12. I have little thread and fob thieves, LOL. And wow, no stash since 2008, I am way impressed.

My vote would be Moon Garden or the Diminutive Dutch piece, can't wait to see what you start.
