Shores block 4
I finished this a couple of days ago - just in time for the end of the month - but didn't get around to taking a photo. So here's block 4 of Shores. It was a fun one to do.
On to block 5 now, which is stitch heavy and will definitely take all month. It's looking good though - if you ignore the lack of ironing...
I also finished this little thing. It's My Fair Ladybug from Just Nan. Again, not ironed as I haven't decided what to do with it yet.
It's not been a great week. We're still without gas, though we have found the leak. It's going to take all of Wednesday to replace the leaky pipe and might mean taking up the floorboards in all the rooms upstairs. How we're going to get around the furniture I don't know. And work-wise I'm still trying to get details of projects and getting a bit nervous about why everything is taking so long. All in all, it'll be good when next week is over.

Your Shores is beautiful, and your little ladybug is so cute!
ReplyDeleteShores is looking wonderful. Love the JN finish.
ReplyDeleteShores is beautiful! I love how in your photos we can see all the details and colors of the design. It's really pretty! My Fair Ladybug is very pretty too!
ReplyDeleteYour Shores is so pretty and I love the little Just Nan piece :-).
ReplyDeleteHope your week goes smoothly with no hitches.
Congrats on both - Shores is coming along so well!
ReplyDeleteHope the week passes ok.
This SO looks good! For some reason I really like this block. :) Next month is definitely a beauty, for all its denseness. :)
ReplyDeleteI don't mind skipping the ironing--a must until you're ready to finish, imho.
Ironing is so over-rated! Love your progress on Shores.
ReplyDeleteAwesome progress on Shores! It looks fantastic, Nicki!
ReplyDeleteShores is looking lovely Nicki. I really enjoyed that block. I've made a start on block 4.
ReplyDeleteThe JN is beautiful.
Great progress on Shores!! Love the ladybug design. I have a few of the ladybug JNs to do for my younger daughter--they are really cute. Good luck with the leak and the problems it's caused! :P
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful progress you're making with Shores, Nicki! You should be a good example to me (but I'm waiting on that request I put in for an extra 5 hours for each day, LOL).
ReplyDeleteVery nice progress on Shores. And your little JN finish looks so pretty. I love her small designs as they are done so quickly and give you a nice feeling of having accomplished something. Have you already done the finishing on your CHS stocking?
ReplyDeleteHopefully the work on the leak will be finished soon.
Your Shores is looking fantastic. I need to get back to my Block 2. Hope this week is better than the last one!
ReplyDeleteOh, I shouldn't have decided to come and catch up on your blog. LOL. Your Shores is looking fabulous, but the little Just Nan finish is what really caught my eye, Just Nan addict that I am. It's all I can do not to grab one and start it right now! Must... work... on... UFO...
