Shore block 6

Well, block 6 and block 7 are the single big block in the middle, so this is most of 6 and a bit of 7 I guess. Faster and easier to stitch than I expected, though I'm not really looking forward to all that sea!


And because it's summer and the weather is gorgeous, here are some pictures of the old rose in the garden. It's looking gorgeous right now.

  5. I just love "Shores". I've stitched a few motifs from it, but have yet to tackle the entire thing. I've been caught up in little projects lately, but really want to dive into a big one. Love the scarf! That edging is amazing.

  7. Great progress! I just finished up these two blocks myself. I found the sea was much better than stitching those sails - I didn't really enjoy doing those...

  10. Your Shores in coming along really well. I'm quite surprised at how quick this one is stitching up too. I thought it would take ages. I'm not as far as you but I'm intent on giving it a good go this evening!
