Redwork exchange part 1!

I was going to show you a picture of the birthday exchange gift I stitched for Sylvie, but that'll have to wait until tomorrow as I've received my redwork exchange all the way from Germany!


Isn't it lovely? It's from Svenja. Thank you so much Svenja! I love it - it's such a cute pillow. I love alphabets and the backing fabric is beautiful. And I got some lovely beads and some interesting German threads that I'll definitely use.

If you haven't visited Svenja's blog - pop over to see her gorgeous Chatelaine Mini Mysteries. Wow! I have the chart and kit for the first one but seeing them together I wish I'd got all four now!

Speaking of Chatelaines - Martina has updated her Pompeii Garden design and I love it even more than I did before! Help!

  7. Thats really nice, i had wanted to see a pic of that alphabet stitched, very pretty..
    Thanks for pointing out the mini's on svenja's blog...
    i found myself drawn to them when i looked at Dana's wip of one... weird i am not a castle person and now i regret not having signed up for them...
    i will be buying these when they are released as charts
