At last!

My Crazy Cat Lady exchange finally reached its recipient - Emilie in Canada. Phew! It's the first time I've posted to Canada and it took well over 2 weeks to arrive so I was getting a little worried. But all is well and here's a photo of it - Cat Sampler by Heart in Hand.

I think I ended up changing most of the threads as I only had a couple of the specified ones. Then I had a finishing crisis as I couldn't decide what to do with it. I wanted to do a little padded wallhanging but had no idea how to do it properly or what to use as a hanger. I spent so long fiddling I ran out of time and it ended up being a little cushion instead!

Lastly, just to wave hello to Kerry and say thank you for coming over yesterday! We had a great few hours stitching together and I FINALLY made a start on my nephew's blanket. I've almost transferred the pattern on to the blanketing - just half of Milly mouse left to do. It was the push I needed to get started!
