Stitch-a-long postings
Here's Toccata II-sday week 7. This is my weekly SAL with Tash - 2 motifs a week. After struggling last week with the Japan thread I chose two easy motifs this week. I might save all the Japan thread for a bit later and do it on a frame.
And here's Winter's Eve, my Monday SAL with Lina. It doesn't look as if I did much but I finished all the satin stitch and then spent ages doing algerian eyelets and a bit of beading. It's going to be so pretty!

ReplyDeleteWinter's Eve is gorgeous! You really have to get up close to see how lovely it really is :)
What fabric is it on? It looks like it's prefinished.

ReplyDeleteGreat progress. They are both beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGreat progress on Toccata 2. You will find that the frame will help with the japan thread but I wouldn't save it all up to do at once, the Japan thread is very challenging and I found that I need to mix it in with some of the other motifs for a break
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work, Nicki!
