Laminaria

I was really hoping someone would offer to take my quilt top off my hands. I guess it'll sit in a chest for another few years until I decide what to do with it!

Some knitting pics today. Ravelry friends will have seen this before as I finished it a while ago, but I never posted pics here. It was my first big lace project.

I'm really proud of this. It took ages and I got very fed up with it towards the end but once it was blocked it looked amazing. So much so I have yarn to make a deep pink version for me.

It's a birthday present for my mum for later this year. She'll probably never wear it but she's impossible to buy for and I wanted to knit it, so she's getting it whether she likes it or not!

If you really want to get rid of the quilt you could try some of the 'vintage' dealers/bloggers who might be interested. Let me know if you need any links.
