Laminaria

I was really hoping someone would offer to take my quilt top off my hands. I guess it'll sit in a chest for another few years until I decide what to do with it!

Some knitting pics today. Ravelry friends will have seen this before as I finished it a while ago, but I never posted pics here. It was my first big lace project.

I'm really proud of this. It took ages and I got very fed up with it towards the end but once it was blocked it looked amazing. So much so I have yarn to make a deep pink version for me.

It's a birthday present for my mum for later this year. She'll probably never wear it but she's impossible to buy for and I wanted to knit it, so she's getting it whether she likes it or not!
